Pre-tensioner belt is one kind of safty belt which is different from other safty belt as it's added in tensioiner. Tensioner will perceive the certain impact during the crash and will immediately pull the belt close to driver with the action of gas generator. The advantage is the pre-tensioner belt will momently lock the belt to prevent driver moving ahead during car crash. It will strongly keep drivers' safty. The emergency locking retractor in pre-tensioner belt is quite different as normal seat belt. Except the normal funtion of retracting, it could strengthen the seat belt constrait in around 0.1 second if the car speed significantly changed as it has controlling and tensionor devices.
